Best in Show: going places and different perspectives
As Dr Seuss, the wisest of all wise men, once said:
The more that you read,
the more things you will know.
The more that you learn,
the more places you'll go.
As well as going into a good book, I also love going to the park. And just like books can tell a story from a different perspective to your own, this video shows you how the world looks from my point of view:
@ambivalence: Woohoo! :D (I wish Dr Seuss had been one of my humans. He's such a special bipedal.)
@TriSARAHtops: I think dual/multi-perspective narratives are getting more common. Maybe because they are also a great (and easy) way of increasing tension in a novel? I think that's also why I find Gayle Forman's books so interesting, because you have to wait until the *second* book to get the alternate POV.
@daydreamer: On days when I'm stuck slaving away inside, this video makes me so happy.
Aww how beautiful, Inky. Such a lovely video and such gorgeous dogs. :) And LOL at the chewed up frisbee- now that's a familiar sight. xD
AAAAAAWWWWWWWW! LOVE the video.
Also, I love the alternating POV books, which seem to be getting more and more common. Or perhaps it's just me.
I think you deserve ten doggie treats for quoting Dr Seuss ^_^ Cute video, nice view :P
