Chaos Theory

It's been a strange week.

I don't know if you ever feel the same, but I often feel like I'm living inside a large hadron collider trying to duck as things come flying at me from everywhere at high speed.

(One of the light blue particles is me)

How do we try to make sense of things that have no answers? Like why bad things happen to good people, and vice versa.

My rambly thought for the day is: try to make positive connections.

Even if it's just smiling at someone who passes you by, or helping someone who has dropped a load of pamphlets in a car park, or letting a complete stranger go first even if you're really pressed for time. Random acts of kindness, of simple humanity, add to the sum total of happiness floating around in the universe. Even if that disperses pretty quickly, at least it existed and was shared, even for just an instant.

The energy you give out comes back to you, I really believe that.

Sending whoever's reading this warm fuzzies and rainbows and a hot cuppa of their favourite beverage.

Right back at you Rebecca! Really enjoying your posts so far. Kirsty Eagar PS Also, I completely agree with you about female characters who are humans first (I'm paraphrasing, but you'll know the bit I mean).

Why thank you, I very much appreciate it. My friend and I call these random acts of kindness 'ARKS'. Like, rearranged. 'Acts of Random Kindness'. Donno if that makes sense, but the point is, we try to do one every week. I think the starfish story fits into here....
