Inky's Choice: Easy by Tammara Webber
The Christmas holidays is a relaxing time for me. I rolled around in the mud, chased a few cats, barked at the birds and read myself a few good books.
The following are five reasons to read Easy by Tammara Webber.
1. It's one of those new fandangled 'New Adult' books everyone is talking about.
2. For those of you on the cusp of University, it gives a great insight in to the ebb and flow of a student's daily life.
“A word of advice, though. This won't be the last time you have to deal with something in life that throws you off your game. In future courses, as well as in the real world--such as it is--professors and employers won't always be accommodating. We all have to--what's my daughter's terminology--suck it up and deal?”
3. There's a romance.
4. It has a powerful and important life lesson at the heart of it.
5. It encourages girls to be strong and stand up for what you believe in.
“So Buck can enjoy sitting in a cell contemplating how he blew up his life. He hurt two people sitting at this table. And you’re worried about who’ll look bad if they tell? Scr*w that. Dean, D.J., Kennedy and every frat boy on this campus can all go scr*w themselves. Are we sisters or not?”
