5 reasons to read The Interrogation of Ashala Wolf by Ambelin Kwaymullina:

File 128841. Super-powers! In a post-apocalyptic world.

2. ...Unfortunately the people with super-powers are not liked by the rest of society. Which does mean the book is full of tension, conflict, and action.

3. It has one of those amazing plots that looks simple, but is actually a big, complicated knot. (And it unravels beautifully.)

4. It has moments of pure fantasy, inspired by dreamtime mythology.

5. Ashala Wolf! Wolf! AND, there's a very cool reason why her surname is Wolf.

#3 is always a favourite for me, but #4 just makes it unique ^_^
