Inside The Kennel with Isobelle Carmody
Author Isobelle Carmody has given Inky the low-down on her new release...
If you're in Melbourne, you can meet Isobelle in person (!!), along with YA author Maureen McCarthy, at Readings bookshop in Carlton from 4pm (details here).
My new book is... a reprint of one of my favourites of my books, Greylands.
In one sentence, it is about... Jack, whose mother has died under mysterious circumstances and whose father has retreated into himself, falls one night into a grey and colourless land from which he must escape, before it is too late.
Life without colour is... sad.
My misfit talent is... empath/farseeker.
I dream of... very little - mostly I have horrible nightmares.
The dog has eaten my manuscript when... I am late for a deadline.
Isobelle was also the insideadog writer in residence for March 2012. If you missed her wonderful posts (and envy-fuelling pictures), you can read them all here.
