'It started as a joke.'

I was riding my bike home from working at the museum this afternoon and the first line of the comic came to me.

As with many of the issues of MONGREL so far, I'd like issue 7 to begin with voiceover, in caption boxes, so with the images we move across the British Library courtyard, and with the speaking in the caption boxes, we get an introduction to the character of Myra and her field of 'fictional genealogy'.

What I'm thinking of doing is having the first page of images NOT including any of our main characters for this issue, and with panel 1 on page 2, we reveal Myra, Clive and David having a chat.  What I need guidance on here is whether they are revealed talking at 'The Last Word' cafe outside the British Library:

or the information desk inside the British Library, which I included a large-scale picture of in a previous post but - ah! - I have just seen a close-up of the wall behind the information desk which makes it the probable location, my friends:

And if you are asking yourself: "Is... is that a SHADOW CLOCK?" then I can gleefully confirm, yes it IS a shadow clock.

Hoo hah - please, let me know what you think, but someone's gunna hafta mount a pretty serious argument for The Last Word cafe as a location, when there is a Shadow Clock at the Information Desk...

Waitaminnit... is that going to be hard to draw? I mean, draw in such a way as to make it obvious that it's a shadow clock?  I think it might... hmmm...

You cannot possibly retract the shadow clock after showing it to us as a hard draw! IT'S AWESOME. USE EET.
