I love op-shopping, music and animals.  I dream to own a DSLR camera and one day publish a novel.

Your favourite book as a child?

There are too many to choose from! Cat in a Hat was definitely a favourite, I remember that I once made my own red and white striped hat and then wore it to school for our Easter hat parade! Other books I loved would be; The Very Hungry Caterpillar, everything by Enid Blyton and the Mr Men series.

What's a book that made you cry?

I admit to occasionally shedding a tear…. Ok. Maybe a bit more than a tear, I balled my eyes out reading Goodnight Mr Tom by Michelle Magorian, it’s one of the saddest books I have ever read.

A book that made you laugh?

For me, most books make me laugh, but Nightlight: A parody by The Harvard Lampoon, was completely ridiculous. It’s about Edwart and Belle Goose, but maybe I was just laughing at the concept of the book…

File 2449What are you currently reading?

Bite Club, book 10 in the Morganville Series by Rachel Caine.

Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?

Well, let’s just call it ‘admiration’ nothing more, we all know they’re not real right? Recently it was Cinna from the Hunger Game series; he’s considerate of others, has a great fashion sense and isn’t afraid to stand up for what he believes in.

What’s your favourite reading place?

Lying on my bed, sitting in the park, during class- it doesn’t matter as long as I have a book in my hand.

Who is the author you’d most like to meet? (Living or dead)

John Marsden, I’ve loved his books for ages and he’s so passionate about his writing. Or maybe J.K Rowling. That would be a dream come true.

Favourite book-to-film adaptation?

I can’t stand it when a book gets made into a movie because usually the books are better, they have more depth but The Lord of The Rings movies were classic and I also loved Tomorrow When the War Began.

On a quiz show, your special subject would be:

World War I or World War II.

And what are you generally doing when you're not reading?

When I’m not reading- which is rare very rare- I’m making up stories or poems (that no-one else ever ends up reading), searching the internet for the latest music (which I buy), playing the piano, drawing, editing photos, daydreaming or hanging out with my friends and family.
