What's... THAT, approaching at speed?

Incredible. I was just starting to get relaxed with this method of working: pitch some ideas, do some idle wondering/wandering, incorporate some happenstance
And then you people pitching in - it's been grand just grand.
Okay what have we got so far, with issue 7 of MONGREL which is what we've been wrting? We begin with a tracking shot of the outside of the British Library and a voiceover by Myra, one page.
Say two pages at the info desk where we establish the mission for this issue and the three characters.
Last page page 8 of the issue is the big reveal downstairs in the underground book stacks.
Two page spread before that gets us down there AND reveals the superpower of one of the Expats. I think I'm going to give that to Clive.
Leaves two pages in the middle of the issue - they will proabaly be needed to deepen the story of Ern Malley, the hoax who has come to life, but not just via dialogue. We need the three characters to be spied on, or even to become aware that they are being followed. Which turns the second half of the issue into a bit of a chase, which would be great!
Hmm, a chase in a library. I like it. What do you think?
