Honestly i didnt like this book. But if you like a drama/comedy kind of book i recommoned it for you.
i personally dont like this book that much, i didnt want to keep reading the book after the first pages. It didnt have anything interesting in any parts of the book i dont think it is a good book! xx
I read this book once in year 5 and found it really interesting but since I have reread it I have disliked it. The book is funny to an extent but really is meant for 8-10 year olds rather than teenagers. All in all I would recommend it to people but maybe more a 'younger sibling'. Good for both girls and boys.
Dont Call Me Ishmael is a book about a boy (Ishmael Leseur) who suffers from a syndrome called "Ishmael Leseur Syndrome." Its about bullying, hot chicks, debating, fainting and Ishmael trying to overcome his fears. The book was a bit boring, apart from one part which is absolutely hilarious, but it isnt a book I would recommend to my friends.
this book Michael Gerard Bauer is good,
A 14 year old boy called Ishmael , he has a very rare condition, not even the docters no what it is!!!! his life is great in primary school but in high school t goes all wrong. at the start it is really confusing but at the end it is really good!! i really enjoyed this book and i am sure you will to!!
i dont really like this book, not the best out there!
um i didnt like this book much :\
This book is the story of Ishmael Leseur who suffers from 'Ishmael Leseurs disease' which is incurable. Ishmael absolutely hates his name and is called many names by the school bully such as 'Fishtail Lesewer' or ' PIsswhale Manure' When a new boy James Scobie arrives at St Daniels and signs Ishmael up for the debating team his life changes forever. This book was very confusing at the start and didn't really make much sense. I didn't find the start very gripping and I found that continued through out the book. I wouldn't recommend reading it because it wasn't interesting and it was boring.
This was quite and interesting book, it was a bit confusing at first but then it started to make sence :)
This was an interesting book, i found it confusing at the start but its gets a bit better as you go along.
I only started reading this book because we had to for school. At first I didn't particularly enjoy it because it was abitconfuing, but as I kept reading it, the better it got. It is a pretty good book and I would recomend reading it.
