I have many problems with this book, all of which I shall no state here. Let me start by saying Bella is a whiny, one-dimensional teenager who although it is stated that she did not have to, complains about going to 'Forks', does that make any sense to you? As for Edward; I think he is a too-highly romantisized character that it leads young girls or even middle aged women to set unnatainable standards for men in real life, and what makes it okay that a person that is over 100 years old to be dating a 17 year old? This goes for Jacob as well,I mean he is a dog! Couldnt Stephanie Meyer write in a character that is in the least sense believable.
Look at all the things in the book : Necrophilia (considering Edward is you know, dead), Pedophilia (Edward is over 100 yrs old), Beastiality (Jacob's a shapeshifting dog/wolf/whatever), and many more. If she was going to write these things, at least talk about and explain how they are wrong.
Wouldn't recommend it, but I can see why some people like the paranormal romance-type novels.
Twilight is an adventureous thrilling love story. She is torn between two Jacob a best friend and Edward who she is deeply in love with. I though my hands were glue to the book because i just simply could not put it down. Stephanie Meyer is a very detailed fantastic writer so if you love this book which i think you will there are another three in the set! So the question is are you going to be team Edward or team Jacob?
It's a good book for those who enjoy Vampires and romance. Although, Bella doesn't have a personality and Stephenie Meyer describes 'Edwards beautiful face' to often.
people need to read this before they see the movie because it has so much more interesting details in it. i fell in love with all the characters quickly because their personalities are described more in this book.
This is the first novel of the twilight series (with new moon, eclipse, short second life of Bree Tanner and breaking dawn following) the twilight series is a great series for teens, I’ve read it a few times and I loved it all of them. this book is also a movie, the book and the movie are both great but different.
the book is about a girl named Isabella Swan (Bella) who moves from Phoenix to a small town called Forks. When Bella starts at school she meets a boy named Edward Cullen who seems mysterious and alluring, Bella tries to get to know him better and she finds out too much as it turns out he is a vampire! But Bella’s life takes a turn for the worst as Bella meets a new vampire coven as James who is a tracker tries to ‘eat’ Bella but the Cullens protect her and end up ripping him up and burning him. This book is great I couldn’t seem to put it down!! It lived up to its expectation.
This book Is ok, great for the first time but gets quite boring after a couple of reads, but overall, its really enjoyable for people who like deep romance and Vampires.
