 Wonder

This book is about It is about many intertwining stories written from the point of view of many characters who, at some point in the story, meet. There is a political story line, not dissimilar to past wars and revolutions. This leads to one country invading another and beginning of a romance between a girl and a man from opposing countries. Amongst many other story lines.

The best thing about this book is is the amount of unusual words used, you will have to look some up. this is good because you expand you're vocabulary. the style of writing is great and the way the stories weave together is brilliant.

I didn't like the way it is sometimes difficult to remember characters name. the character often have difficult names but once you get into the story they are much easier than the intial introductory part.

You might like this book if you also enjoyed One hundred years of solitude, the house of the spirits. though less magico realism than in those books.

A good place to read this book would be perhaps some where on a beach, or in the bush. you'll need large blocks of time if you get really into it so i recomend you read it over the holidays!

If this book had a soundtrack, it would be it would vary from scene to scene so really any type of music but sometimes silence is golden :P
