“A child called “It” is a very emotional and inspiring story written and experienced by Dave Pelzer. The book was about his rough childhood journey and about his capability for going through child abuse. He was a courageous young boy desperate to survive. I felt his agony through his words and description, so obviously he easily connected to his readers and kept them interested. He worked so hard to attempt to please his Mother but every time it failed he was willing ignore her negativity towards him and try again, even though his mother called him “It” because she felt he wasn’t worthy enough for a name. This book is my favourite book because he opened up to his readers not only of what had happened but his feelings towards it and because it will inspire readers to use their voices wisely but strongly.

this book is Titled "A Child Called it" written by Dave Pelzer is about the horribly, painful and violently of Dave’s life. This book was autobiography. The author's mother in this book treated Dave also know was "it" poorly and physically abused him often. He tried to escape many time but never got away which had led to being tortured even more. This book is a very violent, depressing book which if followed up by a final book about the author’s life.

'A Child called it' is a heart touching story about a boy who's family turned against him, Dave Pelzer describes the childs feelings really well. The child has to move forward and forget about the past although he is getting hurt everyday especially by his mother. His siblings have to try and not care about what is happening to save their own life. This is an amazing and inspirational book which makes you feel lucky for how you are treated!

I can't rate this book amazing! It's very selfish of me, because it's a compelling read, but it's also disturbing. Based on reality, apparently, I just can't fathom these events taking place. I can't imagine a woman so horrible, particularly a mother to her own child. This was just sick. Perhaps it's a good read if you want to know of the dark happenings of the world, but prepare your stomach. Prepare your heart. It'll destroy your happiness and pulverise your brain. I regret reading it, I do, because it was way too tragic for me to comprehend.

A child called it is a book that you will always remember when you are talking about books. It is a mind blowing story of what a little child went through and the awful conditions he faced everyday. A child called it is an autobiographical book, about the horrific life the young boy had, when his mother was constantly abused him. The book is also touching as the book is about the Author it was his life as a little boy; Dave Pelzer. As soon as you begin reading this book you can’t put it down and it is a intriguing book that is worth reading.
