The book Great expectations is about a boy named Pip who lives in the beroque period in Scottland. The boys parents have died and life is hard until things start change.

the book was hard to read until i really got into it and enjoyed the book. The book was written in the 1600's by this man called Charles Dickens so the vocabulary is quite diiferent to modern day vocabulary because it was written so long ago. That is one of the resons why it was a little hard to read at first. Charles Dickens has written a strange book to me though i enjoyed it because it was so different to other books that i usually read.

i reccomend the book to all people who want to take a challenge in reading.
