History with the nasty bits left in! Find out why Henry VIII thought he'd married a horse, or why Elizabeth I enjoyed visiting new toilets.
These are the kind of books that make history fun!
This is just one of the many books from the series.Being one of there biggest readers I can safely say read them all don't just borrow them from the library buy them because otherwise you will be making ALOT of trips to there!
this book is about the tudors. which are a royal family. the book is about the tudors history in sort of a grtaphic novel form. i really liked this book because it tells you about the past and it tells you how they died. there are little comics in the book which are fun and interesting. this book is a good book for imagining things happening in the past. there are other books in the series which are about other royal familys and countrys. this book was great fun to read and interestin. i learned a lot ffrom it so i recommened it.
Terrible Tudors is, like all the books in the Horrible Histories series, is hilarious, informative and fascinating. Learmn about history in a way that you'll actually remember things. You'll remember King Henry VIII's second wife Anne Boleyn when you hear about how she was ugly that he had her beheaded! With all sorts of random facts you'd never learn anywhere else and quizzes for those who like showing off to their friends how smart they are, there's something for everyone, and if you get caught reading in class your teacher can't complain! Anyone who can read should like it, maybe 9+, but there's no reason why someone younger can't read it if they want. Great book with fantastic illustrations and pathetic jokes, such as the one on the cover!
This book for me has got lots of history and background to it! It's quite an interesting book. I read it in Year 8. I recommend this book for Year 7-8 students.
A really good book about the tudor times. Deary expresses the writing in a way that you will want to read it with pictures. Unlike other books, it isn't just pages with plain writing.
