The Infernal Devices trilogy, a prequel to bestselling The Mortal Instruments trilogy, follows 16-yeRead Review
Not so very long ago, Eragon - Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider - was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now, the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.
Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.
The Rider and his dragon have come farther than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?
Inheritance is a very good book. It is full of excitement and curiosity, with lots of turns and twists where least expected. It is a very enjoyable and hard to put down book but I recommend that the first three books are read first. Overall it is a an extremely wonderful book, with a great range of vocabulary, although it is a bit sad at the end
It`s totally awesome and action packed!! I loved it. Best book of the series. An alltime FAVOURITE of mine!!
I dont believe this book was good at all, the characters are very two dimensional, and throughout the series i noticed that Eragon spends a lot of time knocked out and then every one must tell hime what has happened. I think that is a way of getting out of writing the action and not something that a No. 1 writer should use. The ending is dissapointing and boring, and the way it all happens is quite odd.
Inheritence is a very good book. It is by Christopher Paolini. Christopher has made a brilliant job creating this magical world. This book has many twists and turns which makes the book ever more interesting. I like how the story unfolds and how galbatorix gets killed.

Inheritance is a fantastic book. It follows on from the previous book in the series. I highly recommend reading the other books because of the nature of these book requires that. Being about 850 pages long Inheritance will take you a while to finish. In the other books man questions were left unanswered, However in Inhertance all questions are thouroghly thought through and presented in an interesting way. iN many ways Inheritance is different from other books and all fans of the series should read this book.
Really disappointed with this because I absolutely loved the others. It's just a bit slow moving and repetitive. I'm not sure if he's trying to build the characters a bit more but it doesn't work that well for me. Still, kudos to him for creating such an overall magnificent fantasy world. That's a really scary dragon eye on the cover.
