Lucy's Adventure is the first book of the Narnia Chronicles. It is by the famous author, C.S.Lewis. It is a very popular fantasy classic novel which I recommend for kids.

Its about a young girl named Lucy Pevensie who is 8 years old. She lives with her brothers Edmund, Peter, and sister, Susan. Lucy is quite upset because she is sent to the countryside with her sister and brothers to finally get away from the war in London. When they arrive to the countryside they play a game of hide - and - seek to cheer Lucy up. Instead the game of hide - and seek - turns into Lucy's adventure where she is taken into a magical place called Narnia. Lucy, Edmund, Peter and Susan meet Aslan (The amazing talking Lion) who gives them the task to complete their destiny and free Narnia from an evil, wicked, white witch!

I like this book in particular because its about an ordinary girl, Lucy who finds herself in a wonderful adventure in Narnia. It keeps you in suspense to keep wanting to read more and more!!!
