In new Moon, Edward leaves Bella to protect her, but while he's gone Jacob and Bella are spending a lot more time together. By the time Jacob and Bella are almost together Edward decides to come back, but before he does he calls the Swan residence. Jacob answer and gives Edward the impressiong the Bella is dead.
My favourite part was when Bella saves Edward from being exposed to the huiman race.

This a fantastic sequal to twilight. A bit boring but contains a lot of details. This book revolves around bella and jacob.
As bella once again endangers her life at her birthday party, edward makes a desicion to leave her alone, thinking that she would be safe without him around. But it gets even worse as she builds a friendship with Jacob Black, which turns into love. After a couple of events she then has to choose between endangering her own life for edward or live with jacob.

New Moon is the second book in the Twilight Saga. In this book Edward reckons that he is endangering Bella's life, so Edward and his coven move to Italy. Bella finds herself seriously depressed now that Edward's gone, so goes to Jacob for company. Over a short amount of time Jacob and Bella's friendship grows stronger. Bella decides to jump of a cliff because she liked the feel of an adrenaline rush. As she dives into the water Bella knocks her head on a rock and passes out. If it werent for Jacob jumping in to save her, she would be dead. Thats exactly what Alice saw in her vision. When Alice tells Edward that Bella's dead, Edward goes to the Voltori to kill himself and thats when the trouble really starts.

bit of a let down to the whole series, but just like any other romance book, filled with love and friendship
