A all round great book with the exception of the plot. I found the plot very basic and that it was the only downfall of an otherwise great book.

This book is a long and maybe confusining to people that does not know greek mithogly but is worth all the time, If your new pecy jackson is the son of pisidon and is a demy god and has been acused for stealing Zues's Lightning Bolt. When you read this it is truely a one great big journey.

I love this book! Why?Because Rick Riordan was sooo creative when he wrote this book. I will tell you about it. There is a boy called Percy Jackson and he thinks he is your everyday, ordinary school boy but really he is the son of Greek God Posiedon the water god. He then ventures forth to a strange camp in the middle of nowhere called Half Blood Camp. Ok I am not telling you anymore besides you must read this and I reccomend it anyone from age 8 and up
