14-year-old Mia Thermopolis is still coming to terms with the fact that she's a princess–and heir to the throne of Genovia! But when she announces on national TV that her mum is pregnant to her algebra teacher and plans to marry him, right-royal fuss ensues! For now Mia's dreadful old Grandmere is all set to plan the year's biggest royal wedding, with every A-list celeb invited, from the Reagans to Phil Collins. But will the bride and groom turn up?
The Princess Diaries, Take Two, by Meg Cabot, is a good book for people that like out of the ordinary princess stories.. The main character, Mia, is a very adventurous girl and always gets into trouble by accident. When she finds out that she is the Princess of Genovia, it is like her everything has just tubbled down on her.
I liked the way that it was written in diary entry form so it was more interesting to read. It had a good plot and kept me wanting to read more. I found it funny and I would recommend it for teenage girls between the ages of 12 to 16 if they like to read these kind of novels. However i would probably rate it a 6 or 7 out of 10.

When she finds out that she is Princess of Genovia, it is like her world has been turned upside-down. I find it funny how Mia handles her big resposibilities and always seems to do something wrong.
