When Wendy Everly was six years old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn't until eleven years later that Wendy discovers her mother might have been right.

With the help of Finn Holmes, Wendy finds herself in a world she never knew existed – a world both beautiful and frightening, and Wendy's not sure she wants to be a part of it.

This is the first in Amanda Hocking's stunning first series, the Trylle Trilogy.

This is a GREAT book! It's so different but amazing, I have never read a book that gives trolls a glamourous twist and I think Wendy is such a likeable character. I would reccomend this book to girls of about 13 and up.

Switched is about A girl, Wendy who had never fit in. When a new kid at school turns up at her bedroom window he told her that she was a trylle and he was a tracker. He told her that she was switched a t birth and that he was sent by Wendy's birth mother. A trackers job is to track down the child and bring them back to the Trylle village.

I never used to like reading untill I picked up this book. It was so integing right from the beging. The one thing that i just love about this book is that it is so unpredictable. I loved following Finn and Wendy's romance aswell.

SPOILER.. SPOILER: I thought it was really sad when Finn left and Wendy went home.

I would difenently recommend this book!!!

Switched is a placed in Wendy's Host Mother house. The house is normal but it is not her mothers house it Wendy's Host house but the girl doesn't know. The main character are Wendy Everly, Finn, Matt and her mother. My faviorte is Wendy Everly because her whole life is based on a lie, She lost, not human and switched and different to other people. The major problem in the book is Wendy isn't human she got switched in birth and her mother is trying to kill her but she doesn't know what she is until she release she do stuff and solve it by telling her what she is but she cant change what is. The themes of the book is that the a girl got switched and she is not human it is like a monster. I feel about the end of book is that is really sad and some are happy but moslty sad because she found her real mum but she doesn't even speak her it is very sad. I would think that kids would enjoy the book because

The moment I started reading Switched, by Amanda Hocking, I was completely hooked. It's a great book with a variety of different themes in it, such as love, humour and supernatural. The plot is that a normal teenage girl named Wendy finds out she isn't human; she has certain powers that make her apart of a completely different "tribe" that's located in an secluded area called Förening, in Minnesota. However this village and way of life in itself is completely unknown to normal humans. A boy named Finn tracks her and convinces her to live with her 'kind'.

The book gave me quite a giggle at times and I recommend the book for teenage girls.

This book was one of the best books I have read. While Wendy is trying to find out about her past, the future is also important. No one can really relate to what is going on in the book, but a lot of people can relate to what she is feeling. This book has almost everything from mythical creatures to romance. At first i thought this book would be quite dull, but when i started reading it, I couldnt stop! You could actually visually see it in your head and imagine the characters. She has thought of absolutely everything for this book. Even trolls. This book has a lot of magic/enchantment but somehow she has fit in action and romance as well. As much as I wanted to stop reading, i couldnt. This was a massive page turner. And when she finally gets home in the end, you feel dissapointed that the book is over but I couldnot of thought of a better ending.
