David Mulligan

My latest book is Angels of Kokoda
 
It's about the sacifices made by Australian troops fighting the Japanese along the Kokoda Track in 1942.
 
If I wasn't a writer I'd be an actor.

My first job was behind the counter in the children's department of a big store.
 
On a quiz show my special subject would be General Knowledge - I don't know enough about any one thing.
 
My last hioliday was in New Zealand.

I'm currently reading The Ballad of Desmond Kale by Roger McDonald.
 
Big Brother or Australian Idol? Neither are my thing but if I was tortured, Idol.
 
Favourite film/tv show - don't have only one - it's a bit like my five favourite children.

My favourite book - don't have only one -  it's a bit like my six favourite grandchildren. 
 
The book character I would most like to meet is: since I wanted to be a mixture of Superman and Captain Marvel but found I couldn't fly more than 30cm off the ground for no further than 2 metres,  I've been satisfied with being me.
 
The book character I would least like to meet is too horrible to even think about.
 
The worst thing I've ever written is long gone and was never shown to anyone.
 
When I was growing up I wanted to be older.
 
My heroes are all good people - not perfect people but good people in ways that we in Australia mean by good.
