Favourite film/tv show is Love Letter (film - Shunji Iwai, 1995); Silent Witness, The Last Detective, Hamish Macbeth, Sea Change (TV)

My favourite book is In the Winter Dark (Tim Winton), The Nargun and the Stars (Patricia Wrightson), Snow Country (Yasunari Kawabata), The Grey King (Susan Cooper), and lots more!

The book characters I would most like to meet are Little Myfrom Tove Jansson's Moomin books, and Alan Banks (Peter Robinson's detective)

The book characters I would least like to meet are Mrs Appleyard from Picnic at Hanging Rock, (Joan Lindsay) and Nathan Price (The Poisonwood Bible)

The worst thing I’ve ever written is every first draft

When I was growing up I wanted to be a ballet dancer

My heroes are  - don't have any.  I'm not sure how to define a hero.  Truly kind people, maybe?
